Come one come all to our 8th annual Fall Festival being held at Long Lake park from 12noon-6pm. Every year we draw new divers who love to treasure hunt and carve pumpkins underwater, it’s great fun and the culmination of the seasons diving activities.
What is it you ask? On an undisclosed date and time we dive and hide small Halloween decorations filled with concrete and having numbers printed on the bottom. They are scattered randomly around the bottom of a lake in a cordoned off area in relatively shallow water. The numbers on the bottom of these decorations correspond to prizes we either have donated from our manufacturers or we have purchased ourselves. The underwater pumpkin carving contest is just what it sounds like. You and your buddy will draw for pumpkins and then you will have 10 minutes to plan your creation. You must get in the water and carve the pumpkin, once done carving you may accessorize on land. Accessories are not only allowed but recommended and encouraged. The more outrageous the better!
You can fill out your registration form here at the store or download the form you need, fill them out and drop them off or mail them to us with the registration fee by the 12th if possible!
Don’t miss this great annual event!

A trip anywhere else in March would have not been the
same. A bold statement you might say, but I believe it
in my heart. Our trip back to Cocoview resort in March
was wonderful. Being greeted as family when you walk back
into the door at the resort sets the stage for the entire week. You
know it’s time to put on your flip flops get your gear
ready and dive til you can’t dive anymore.
This year’s
trip was filled with fun people from Bemidji as well as a family
from Houston Texas. We had both divers
and non-divers that enjoyed everything the resort had to offer
as well as going to visit a hydroponics plantation on the island
for a tour. Enjoy our pictures and look for Roatan 2009!
We’d
love to have you with us.
